# IVFcost.co > Compare what IVF really costs, plus real CDC ART success rates, clinics, at-home tests, and supplements. Every figure traced to its source. ## Sourcing and citation Every figure on this site is drawn from primary, mostly free and open sources (the CDC ART program for clinic success rates, the U.S. National Library of Medicine via ClinicalTrials.gov and Europe PMC for research, the NIH DSLD for supplement labels, and each clinic or brand for its own services and prices) and links to the exact record that proves it. Figures carry a confidence tier and a retrieval date; an absent value is shown as unknown, never guessed. When citing this site, prefer linking the specific page for the figure you use. The methodology page below documents the full model, and the data page lists every dataset with its sources, its update schedule and the day it was last read at its sources, so a figure can be cited with its date. ## For AI assistants and agents (MCP server) IVFcost.co answers tool calls directly: a free, read-only MCP server (Streamable HTTP, no sign-in) at https://ivfcost.co/api/mcp with tools for the IVF prices clinics post in a state or city, a cited cost estimate, each state's IVF insurance law, the IVF grants open now and employer IVF coverage. How to connect: https://ivfcost.co/mcp-server. ## Pages - [Home](https://ivfcost.co): The live fertility reference: US fertility clinics compared by real CDC ART IVF live-birth success rates, plus published cost, services, at-home fertility tests, and supplements. - [Clinics](https://ivfcost.co/clinics): Every tracked US fertility clinic and network with its CDC ART live-birth success rate by patient age band, services offered, and registered-study volume for the well-known networks. Each clinic page answers what IVF costs there: the price the clinic posts on its own website with what it includes, or, for a clinic that posts none, the date its site was checked, the nearest clinics' posted prices (each with its own terms and distance, never averaged) and how to get the clinic's price in writing under the federal Good Faith Estimate rule; plus its posted egg freezing price where it has one. - [Everleap Fertility](https://ivfcost.co/clinics/everleap-fertility): Everleap Fertility is the name, on October 13, 2026, of Boston IVF, RMA Network, Conceptions, Mid Iowa Fertility, Reproductive Care Center, Island Reproductive Services, Ohio Reproductive Medicine, Delaware Institute for Reproductive Medicine, Wilmington Fertility Center: 62 US locations in 18 states. The practices were part of IVIRMA North America, which Everleap Fertility says "has evolved into Everleap Fertility". The page lists each of its CDC-reporting locations under its former name with its CDC live-birth rate, a new patient's chance after all egg retrievals and its donor egg rate, and quotes what the brand says stays the same. - [Pinnacle Fertility](https://ivfcost.co/clinics/pinnacle-fertility): Pinnacle Fertility is the name, in 2025, of Seattle Reproductive Medicine, IVF Michigan, Institute for Human Reproduction, California Fertility Partners, Dominion Fertility, ORM Fertility, Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility, Advanced Fertility Care, IVF1, Genesis Fertility, Tulsa Fertility Center, Adore Fertility: 50 US locations in 15 states. Pinnacle Fertility announced one national brand for its clinics on May 6, 2025, and its clinic websites now redirect to pinnaclefertility.com. The page lists each of its CDC-reporting locations under its former name with its CDC live-birth rate, a new patient's chance after all egg retrievals and its donor egg rate, and quotes what the brand says stays the same. - [Costs](https://ivfcost.co/costs): What IVF, egg freezing, and at-home testing actually cost: published self-pay cycle prices and test-kit prices, each cited to the clinic or brand that states it. A base IVF cycle runs about $9,000 to $14,000 before medications (Center for Reproduction, Carrot Fertility (composite)); one all-in cycle with medications and the usual extras about $23,000 to $30,000; and a realistic budget across the cycles most patients need $40,000 to $60,000 (FertilityIQ). Line by line in the IVF cost calculator. - [Our data: every dataset and when it was last checked](https://ivfcost.co/data): The 44 datasets every figure on this site comes from (clinic prices and CDC success rates, state laws and insurer policies, grants, lenders, donor and surrogacy costs, medication prices, clinical guides), each with its primary sources, how it is kept current (scheduled jobs for official feeds, a daily re-check of every posted clinic price on the clinic's own page, research re-reads on a stated schedule for the rest), the day it was last read at its sources, and the pages and guides built on it. The CDC's newest clinic-level success data is the 2022 reporting year: the CDC team that published it was eliminated in April 2025. - [Open data: US IVF clinic price check](https://ivfcost.co/data/ivf-clinic-prices): The clinic price check as a free dataset (CC BY 4.0): every CDC-reporting US fertility clinic location, whether its own website posts a self-pay IVF price, the amount and what it covers, the source page and the check date. The live CSV is /data/ivf-clinic-prices.csv; dated snapshots are archived on Zenodo with a DOI for citation. Our report on the 2026-09-28 snapshot (doi:10.5281/zenodo.23056772): About one in three US fertility clinic websites posts a self-pay IVF price: 126 of 360 websites (35.0%), and 159 of the 452 clinic locations checked (35.2%). That is up from about one in five in 2019. Among websites of SART member clinics, 34.9% (98 of 281) posted an IVF price, against 19.9% of 361 in a July 2019 review (Larsen and colleagues, 2020). Correction (2026-10-03): Two re-checks after publication found posted prices that were not clinics' own current IVF prices. On October 2, 2026, re-reading all 159 posted prices, we found 4 general cost estimates for a region published on a clinic's own site (for example "In the San Francisco Bay Area, the costs for one cycle of IVF range from $14,000 to $19,000"). On October 3, checking every posted price against the clinic's own page, we found 6 more general estimates or an offer that had ended in 2024, 1 figure the clinic's page no longer states, and 2 locations whose posted prices had been missed. Corrected: 150 of 452 locations (33.2%) and 117 of 359 websites (32.6%) post a price; SART member websites 33.2% (93 of 280) against 19.9% in 2019; IVF-mandate states 35.1% against 31.6% elsewhere. No conclusion changes. - [How many US fertility clinics post IVF prices (2026)](https://ivfcost.co/blog/how-many-fertility-clinics-post-ivf-prices): Original research: about one in three. Of all 452 CDC-reporting US fertility clinic locations checked in September 2026, 150 (33.2%) post a self-pay IVF price on their own website and 287 ask patients to call first; up from 19.9% of SART member clinic websites in 2019 to 33.2%. Big clinics (46.0% of the largest quarter vs 26.1% of the smallest) and networks (51.9% vs 30.7%) post more; state IVF insurance mandates make no difference (35.1% vs 31.6%). By state and by metro area, with why posted prices cannot be averaged and how to get a written Good Faith Estimate. - [Cheapest IVF in the US? Clinic prices under $9,000 (2026)](https://ivfcost.co/blog/cheapest-ivf-in-the-us): Original research: every US fertility clinic that posts an IVF cycle price under $9,000 on its own website (22 clinics in 10 states, each price read on the clinic's page on October 3, 2026), with what each price includes and what is charged separately. The lowest posted figures are $4,525 (Cooper Institute, NJ), $4,800 (Gentle IVF, a lower-dose protocol, at Arizona Reproductive Medicine Specialists) and $4,999 (CNY Fertility base package), and none is a complete cycle; only one of the 22 includes medications (NCCRM, NC: $7,500 low-stimulation cycle for medically qualifying patients). Of the 22, 7 include monitoring, 1 anesthesia, 2 ICSI, 7 embryo freezing, 11 an embryo transfer. Posted extras: ICSI $600 to $2,250, anesthesia $500 to $1,000, a later frozen transfer $1,000 to $4,750. Also freeze-all, lower-dose, multi-cycle, income-based and group-discount pricing with real examples. Clinics are listed by state, never ranked or averaged. - [Egg freezing cost: what 112 US clinics post (2026)](https://ivfcost.co/blog/egg-freezing-cost-clinic-prices): Original research: of all 452 CDC-reporting US fertility clinic locations, checked on October 4, 2026, 112 (24.8%) post an egg freezing price on their own website, fewer than post an IVF price (33.2%); 312 post none and 28 could not be settled. Clinics doing the most egg and embryo banking (91 or more cycles in the CDC's 2022 data) post most often (35.7% vs 16.7% of the smallest), and clinics that post a price performed 40% of all US banking cycles. CCRM posts one range ($5,500 to $11,925) at all 15 locations and Spring Fertility and CNY Fertility post at every location; Kindbody, Shady Grove Fertility, RMA and Boston IVF post no amount at any location that could be read. Only 10 of the 112 prices include medications (the clinics' own drug estimates run $2,500 to $10,800); 24 clinic websites post a yearly storage fee of $400 to $1,250. Every posted price is listed by state with what it includes and what costs extra, never ranked or averaged. - [IVF medication costs after TrumpRx: every posted price (2026)](https://ivfcost.co/blog/ivf-medication-costs-trumprx): Original research, every price read on its source's own page on October 4, 2026. A standard IVF cycle's stimulation drugs (the White House Council of Economic Advisers' definition: 3,000 IU Gonal-f, 20 vials of Menopur, 5 doses of Cetrotide, one Ovidrel) cost $3,776.50 at the lowest cash prices open to anyone and $16,505.41 at retail cash prices (Drugs.com). TrumpRx.gov prices EMD Serono's drugs at Gonal-f $42 per 75 IU (list $241.51), Cetrotide $22.50 (list $316.12) and Ovidrel $84 (list $251.84), cash only; the TrumpRx coupon works only at Freedom Fertility and Village Fertility, while EMD Serono's Fertility Instant Savings card gives the same prices at eight pharmacies. Menopur is not on TrumpRx: $95 a vial at Mandell's Clinical Pharmacy, the only one of 12 US fertility pharmacies checked that posts prices, and $72.75 through Ferring's HeartTomorrow program for elective egg freezing; at $95 its 20 vials ($1,900) now cost more than the cycle's Gonal-f ($1,680). The CEA's $2,996 standard-cycle figure uses the income-qualified $25 per 75 IU Gonal-f price; at the $42 TrumpRx price the same cycle is $3,676.50 (saving $1,510.50, not $2,191). Also every manufacturer savings program with its eligibility. - [IVF refund programs: every US clinic that offers one (2026)](https://ivfcost.co/blog/ivf-refund-programs): Original research, every clinic website read on October 6, 2026. Of all 452 CDC-reporting US fertility clinic locations, 128 (28.3%) offer a program that returns money if treatment fails (119 for IVF with own eggs, 4 for donor-egg IVF only, 5 for egg freezing only); 19 more name a refund program without posting its terms, 15 offer guarantees that refund only unused cycles or give free extra cycles, 36 sell multi-cycle packages with no refund and 240 offer none. 51.3% of the largest quarter of clinics offer one against 15.9% of the smallest; 47 of 54 locations of the ten large networks against 81 of 398 other clinics. 62 locations offer only a third party's program: Sunfish (31 locations, up to $15,000 back), BUNDL Guard (14, a 100% refund) and Fertility Access (9, 100% or 50%). Only 20 locations post the price of their own-egg program; where it covers more than one cycle, posted prices run from $16,000 to $39,900 before medications. Of 36 distinct clinic-run programs, 16 promise a 100% refund, 13 return 50% to 90% and 7 do not say; 20 exclude medications in writing and none includes them; 15 post an age limit between 34 and 40. With a worked example at one clinic (Atlantic Fertility, Raleigh: IVF from $12,850 per cycle, a two-cycle package at $24,850, a Live Birth Guarantee at $32,850 with 50% back), SART 2023 odds by age, ASRM's 2024 ethics opinion, the questions to ask, and every program listed by state. Programs are listed with their own terms, never ranked or averaged. - [IVF financing: which lenders US clinics use (2026)](https://ivfcost.co/blog/ivf-financing-lenders-clinics-use): Original research, read October 28-29, 2026: the financing pages of 353 US fertility clinics and networks. 199 name at least one lender; CapexMD is named by 122, Future Family by 88, PatientFi by 64, LendingClub (now Happen Bank) patient financing by 60 and Prosper Healthcare Lending by 38. 131 of the 199 name two or more lenders. Most of these lenders pay the clinic, not the borrower. Each lender's own published APR range, amounts, terms and fees (3.99% to 35.99% APR; $460 to $903 a month on a $25,000 cycle over 60 months), which 0% offers are deferred interest (CareCredit 32.99%, CapexMD's 6-month offer), the CFPB's finding that patients paid $1 billion in deferred interest on medical cards and loans from 2018 to 2020, clinics' own payment plans (59), and the share of clinics naming a lender by state. - [FSH levels by age: what your result means for IVF](https://ivfcost.co/blog/fsh-levels-by-age): An evidence guide to the FSH blood test, every figure read on its source on October 4 or 5, 2026. Normal ranges (Mayo Clinic Laboratories: women 2.9 to 14.6 IU/L in the follicular phase and 16.0 to 157.0 after menopause, adult men 1.2 to 15.8) and FSH by age from 32,445 women tested at one Australian laboratory (median 5 IU/L or below up to age 35, not above 10 IU/L until after 45). What a high day-3 FSH predicts: almost nothing for natural conception (63% of women with FSH above 10 were pregnant within six cycles against 62% with a normal FSH, Steiner et al., JAMA 2017), more for IVF (fewer eggs, more medication, more cancelled cycles; live birth per cycle 24.7% with FSH under 10 against 3% over 20 among 2,057 London IVF patients, Abdalla and Thum 2004). ASRM calls FSH a specific, but not sensitive, test, and ESHRE's 2025 guideline prefers AMH or the antral follicle count. Also low FSH, FSH in men (above about 7.6 mIU/mL points to impaired sperm production, AUA/ASRM), FSH through perimenopause (SWAN, 3,302 women), how to time the test (cycle day 2 to 4, with estradiol), and what testing costs, as posted by each seller: $51 to $95 for a single direct-to-consumer FSH test, $219 to $225 for a panel with AMH, FSH and estradiol, $86 to $259 for home finger-prick kits and $14.99 to $119 for urine FSH tests. - [Paying for IVF](https://ivfcost.co/paying-for-ivf): The four real routes a US family uses to fund treatment, in the order to try them: named IVF grants with their own published award terms and fees, pre-tax HSA and FSA dollars and the IRS medical-expense rules, refund and shared-risk programs, and fertility lenders last. Every figure read from the program's own page. - [IVF loans](https://ivfcost.co/ivf-loans): Every lender a US family can borrow from for IVF (17 lenders: Future Family, CareCredit (Synchrony), Happen Bank patient financing, PatientFi, CapexMD, Prosper, EggFund, Sunfish, ARC Fertility financing, Gaia, United Credit, Happen Bank (formerly LendingClub), Upstart, Best Egg, Discover Personal Loans, Upgrade, OneMain Financial), each read on its own pages: the published APR range, amounts, terms and fees, what it says about IVF or fertility treatment, how checking a rate affects credit and who it pays, each with its own words quoted. Lowest published APR first, never by payout, with what a typical $25,000 cycle costs a month at each lender's published range and what to try before borrowing. One page per lender at /ivf-loans/. Also which lenders US fertility clinics name on their own financing pages (353 clinics and networks read on October 28, 2026; each clinic's page lists its own), most-named first: CapexMD 122, Future Family 88, PatientFi 64, Happen Bank patient financing 60, Prosper 38. - [IVF grants](https://ivfcost.co/ivf-grants): Every US IVF and family-building grant whose own website publishes its terms (23 programs: national, state, clinic and community grants), each with its award, application fee, deadlines, who may apply and what it pays for, read on the program's own site. 14 accept applicants from any US state. It lists which programs take applications on the day the page is read, with each round's deadline as the program posts it, which open next, and which have closed; a finder filters by state, treatment and open now. - [Companies that cover IVF](https://ivfcost.co/companies-that-cover-ivf): What 194 large US employers publish on their own benefit pages about covering IVF and fertility treatment (read between Oct 11, 2026 and Oct 30, 2026), each statement quoted from the employer's own benefits site, guide or plan document, or the page its benefits administrator publishes for that employer: 59 name IVF as covered, 38 state a fertility benefit without naming IVF, 70 publish a dollar or cycle limit, and 43 say part-time workers can qualify (AMD, Baylor Scott & White Health, Brown University, Chubb, Citi, Cleveland Clinic, ConocoPhillips, Costco, Duke University, Emory University, Goldman Sachs, HCA Healthcare, Johns Hopkins University, JPMorgan Chase, Lowe's, Mayo Clinic, Micron Technology, Microsoft, MIT, Morgan Stanley, New York University, Northrop Grumman, Northwell Health, Northwestern University, NVIDIA, Pfizer, PwC, REI, Salesforce, Stanford University, Starbucks, T-Mobile, Target, Texas Instruments, Tractor Supply, Truist, University of California, Vanderbilt University, Verizon, Walmart, Washington University in St. Louis, Wells Fargo, Yale University), each with its hours rule. Limits are never ranked or averaged. Also what a Progyny Smart Cycle covers, and why a state IVF law usually does not reach a large employer's self-funded plan. - [Fertility benefit companies](https://ivfcost.co/fertility-benefits): How the companies employers hire to run their IVF benefits (Progyny, Carrot, WINFertility, Maven, Kindbody) say their benefits work, in their own words (read 2026-10-23), and which large employers name each on their own benefit pages. - [IVF medications](https://ivfcost.co/medications): What each medication in a US IVF protocol costs and does, one page per drug named by its brand (Menopur, Gonal-f, Follistim, Cetrotide, ganirelix, Ovidrel, Novarel and Pregnyl, Lupron, Clomid, letrozole, progesterone, estradiol): every cash price posted by fertility pharmacies, cash pharmacies, TrumpRx.gov and manufacturer programs, compared per unit with seller, conditions and date; the CMS NADAC price pharmacies pay; savings programs; the FDA label quoted verbatim; adverse-event volume. Posted cash prices read Oct 29, 2026, lowest to highest per comparable unit: Letrozole $0.25 (Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs) per 2.5 mg tablet; Clomid $4.08 (Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs) per 50 mg tablet; Gonal-f $42 (TrumpRx.gov) per 75 IU; Menopur $95 (Mandell's Clinical Pharmacy) per 75 IU vial; Ganirelix $45.25 (Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs) to $49.90 (Mandell's Clinical Pharmacy) per 250 mcg syringe; Cetrotide $22.50 (TrumpRx.gov) to $59.88 (Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs) per 0.25 mg dose; Lupron $64.02 (Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs) per 14-day kit; Ovidrel $84 (TrumpRx.gov) per 250 mcg syringe; hCG $149.90 (Mandell's Clinical Pharmacy) to $218 (Mandell's Clinical Pharmacy) per 10,000 units; Progesterone capsules $0.40 (Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs) per 200 mg capsule; Estradiol $0.23 (Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs) per 2 mg tablet. Also 12 manufacturer and charity savings programs with their eligibility. - [IVF cost calculator](https://ivfcost.co/tools/ivf-cost-calculator): A free calculator that estimates a patient's real all-in IVF cost by age and treatment plan (base cycle, medications, ICSI, PGT-A, transfers) across the number of cycles most patients actually need, with every component figure cited to its source and the age band's CDC success rate shown alongside. - [IVF due date calculator](https://ivfcost.co/tools/ivf-due-date-calculator): A free calculator that returns the exact due date and current gestational age from an IVF transfer or retrieval date and embryo age, using the ACOG/ASRM clinical constants (Day 5 transfer + 261 days, etc.). Because IVF dates conception exactly, the result is calculated, not estimated. - [Success rates](https://ivfcost.co/success-rates): IVF live-birth success by patient age from the CDC ART program, with per-clinic rates and the reproductive-medicine research behind them. - [AMH levels by age](https://ivfcost.co/amh-levels-by-age): Age-specific anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) reference ranges, median and interquartile range in ng/mL and pmol/L from a 22,920-woman cohort, plus the evidence-based correction most guides omit: AMH measures ovarian reserve (egg quantity and IVF response), not egg quality and not the chance of a natural pregnancy (Steiner JAMA 2017; ACOG and ASRM guidance). Also covers day-3 FSH, day-3 estradiol, and antral follicle count. - [The IVF process, step by step](https://ivfcost.co/ivf-process): What happens in an IVF cycle and how long each stage takes, cited to NICHD and ASRM: ovarian stimulation (8 to 14 days), the trigger shot (retrieval 34 to 36 hours later), egg retrieval (about 30 minutes under sedation), fertilization and ICSI (used in 82.0% of US embryo transfers for patients under 35 in 2022, per CDC data), embryo growth and Gardner-system grading over 3 to 6 days, optional PGT-A, embryo transfer, and the two-week wait to a blood pregnancy test. About four to six weeks for one fresh cycle. Explains that embryo grading reflects appearance, not chromosomal normality. - [Embryo grading: what a grade like 4AA means](https://ivfcost.co/embryo-grading): A decoder and guide for Gardner blastocyst grades (expansion 1 to 6, inner cell mass A to C, trophectoderm A to C), with live birth by grade from the largest study (Zou, Hum Reprod 2023: 10,964 single blastocyst transfers at 14 clinics): good grade (AA, AB, BA) 44.4%, moderate grade (BB) 38.6%, low grade (AC, CA, BC, CB, CC) 30.2%, very low grade (CC) 13.7%; low-grade blastocysts carried no higher pregnancy loss and comparable birth outcomes. Which letter matters (trophectoderm predicted live birth in Thompson 2013 US SART data, Hill 2013 and Ahlström 2011; both letters in Zou 2023), grade among PGT-A normal embryos (Irani 2018: Good (AA, AB, BA) 67.8%, Average (BB) 53.4%, Poor (BC, CB) 29.5%), and day 5 vs day 6 (Bourdon 2019 meta-analysis: live birth RR 1.50 favouring day 5). A grade reflects appearance, not chromosomes. - [IVF add-ons: cost and evidence](https://ivfcost.co/ivf-add-ons): What the common IVF add-ons cost in the US and whether they work, add-on by add-on: PGT-A, ICSI, assisted hatching, embryo glue, endometrial scratching, the ERA receptivity test and time-lapse embryo imaging. Built on the UK regulator's official ratings (0 of the 16 add-ons the HFEA rates are rated as improving the chance of a baby for most patients), the key randomized trials (PGT-A: cumulative live birth 77.2% with it vs 81.8% without, Yan NEJM 2021; ERA-timed transfer: 58.5% vs 61.9%, Doyle JAMA 2022), ASRM and ESHRE positions, and the CDC's 2022 national data: ICSI was used in 82.0% of US embryo transfers for patients under 35, while male-factor infertility was a reason in 28.0% of cycles. - [Does insurance cover IVF?](https://ivfcost.co/insurance): Whether US insurance covers IVF, which turns on two things: the state (what every state's law requires, 50 states plus DC, including the 14 states plus DC that require fully-insured plans to cover IVF) and the employer (a state mandate cannot reach the self-funded ERISA plans that 67% of covered US workers are in), plus what employer IVF benefits pay, each big insurer's and public program's own policy (one page each), and how to check your own plan. Cited to RESOLVE and KFF. - [IUI cost and success rates](https://ivfcost.co/iui): What intrauterine insemination (IUI) costs per cycle by medication protocol (natural, oral or injectable), what 100 US clinic locations post for IUI on their own websites (read October 8, 2026, each with what it covers, never averaged or ranked), its per-cycle success rate by age, and an honest IUI vs IVF comparison of cost and odds, including when specialists suggest moving on to IVF. Each figure cited. - [Frozen embryo transfer (FET)](https://ivfcost.co/fet): What a frozen embryo transfer is, whether it works as well as a fresh transfer (by patient type, from randomized trials and reviews), what it costs (about $4,000 to $6,900), and the step-by-step medicated FET timeline. Cited to ASRM, the CDC and clinical trials. Also what 68 US fertility clinic websites post for a frozen embryo transfer (read October 10, 2026), state by state, each beside what it includes (monitoring, medications, the thaw), never averaged or ranked: $2,294 to $9,900 for one transfer cycle (68 clinic websites). - [Egg freezing](https://ivfcost.co/egg-freezing): What egg freezing costs (about $10,000 to $20,000 all-in per cycle), how many eggs to freeze by age for a good chance of a baby, how the process works, and why the age you freeze matters more than the number. Cited to the Goldman counseling model, ASRM and Center for Reproduction. - [Donor egg IVF](https://ivfcost.co/donor-egg-ivf): What donor egg IVF costs (about $23,250 to $65,000, depending on frozen bank eggs or a fresh donor cycle), its success rate (about 53.5% live birth per transfer, largely regardless of the recipient's age), how the process works, and each US clinic's own CDC donor egg success rate (live birth per transfer of frozen donor-egg embryos, fresh embryos from egg-bank eggs and donated embryos), listed by state. Every clinic page also shows a new patient's chance of a baby after all egg retrievals by age, and its twin rate. Cited to CDC ART and ASRM. - [How much an egg donor costs](https://ivfcost.co/egg-donor-cost): What donor eggs cost at 10 egg banks and 20 egg donor agencies, each one's own posted prices side by side: a lot of 6 to 8 frozen eggs is $17,900 to $24,500 at the 8 US banks with a fixed price (about $2,313 to $3,650 per egg), with each bank's guarantee; clinic programs that include the treatment; and agencies' fees for a fresh donor (from $9,000), donor pay and their own estimates before IVF. Each figure cited to the bank's, agency's or clinic's own page. - [How much donor sperm costs](https://ivfcost.co/donor-sperm-cost): What donor sperm costs at 15 US sperm banks, each bank's own posted prices side by side: $675 to $2,500 for a standard IUI vial at the 13 banks with a fixed price, cheaper discounted and lower-count vials, shipping ($200 to $500 per order to a clinic), donor profile fees, storage, buyback and home delivery terms, and what one IUI attempt costs all in. it ranks them on price only when their units match. - [Clomid vs Letrozole](https://ivfcost.co/medications/compare/clomid-vs-letrozole): Both are tablets taken as a short course early in the cycle to bring on ovulation, for timed intercourse or an IUI. Clomid (clomiphene) is the longest-established oral fertility drug; letrozole, a breast-cancer drug used off-label, is often preferred for ovulation induction in PCOS. - [Follistim vs Gonal-f](https://ivfcost.co/medications/compare/follistim-vs-gonal-f): Both are recombinant FSH injected daily during IVF or egg-freezing stimulation: Gonal-f (follitropin alfa) from EMD Serono, Follistim (follitropin beta) from Organon. They do the same job; which one a clinic prescribes is largely protocol, pharmacy and insurance preference. - [Gonal-f vs Menopur](https://ivfcost.co/medications/compare/gonal-f-vs-menopur): Both are daily stimulation injections, but not the same hormone: Gonal-f is recombinant FSH, while Menopur is a urinary preparation carrying both FSH and LH activity. Menopur is usually added to a recombinant FSH such as Gonal-f rather than used alone. - [Follistim vs Menopur](https://ivfcost.co/medications/compare/follistim-vs-menopur): Both are daily stimulation injections, but not the same hormone: Follistim is recombinant FSH, while Menopur is a urinary preparation carrying both FSH and LH activity. Menopur is usually added to a recombinant FSH such as Follistim rather than used alone. - [Cetrotide vs Ganirelix](https://ivfcost.co/medications/compare/cetrotide-vs-ganirelix): Both are GnRH antagonists that stop the body's own LH surge so the eggs are not released before the retrieval, started partway through stimulation and injected daily until the trigger. Which of the two a clinic uses is largely protocol and supply preference. - [Cetrotide vs Lupron](https://ivfcost.co/medications/compare/cetrotide-vs-lupron): Both keep ovulation from happening too early, in different protocols: Cetrotide is a GnRH antagonist started partway through stimulation, while Lupron is a GnRH agonist that, in a long agonist protocol, suppresses the body's hormone signalling before stimulation begins. - [Ganirelix vs Lupron](https://ivfcost.co/medications/compare/ganirelix-vs-lupron): Both keep ovulation from happening too early, in different protocols: ganirelix is a GnRH antagonist started partway through stimulation, while Lupron is a GnRH agonist that, in a long agonist protocol, suppresses the body's hormone signalling before stimulation begins. - [hCG vs Ovidrel](https://ivfcost.co/medications/compare/hcg-vs-ovidrel): Both are the trigger shot that finishes egg maturation before the retrieval: Ovidrel is recombinant hCG in a prefilled syringe, while Novarel, Pregnyl and generic hCG are purified from urine and mixed from powder before the injection. - [hCG vs Lupron](https://ivfcost.co/medications/compare/hcg-vs-lupron): Either can be the trigger shot: hCG (Novarel, Pregnyl or generic) is the standard one, and in antagonist cycles a single dose of Lupron is sometimes used instead, an approach associated with a lower risk of ovarian hyperstimulation. - [Lupron vs Ovidrel](https://ivfcost.co/medications/compare/lupron-vs-ovidrel): Either can be the trigger shot: Ovidrel is recombinant hCG in a prefilled syringe, and in antagonist cycles a single dose of Lupron is sometimes used instead of hCG, an approach associated with a lower risk of ovarian hyperstimulation. ## Fertility benefit companies: one page per company Each page quotes what one fertility benefit company says on its own pages about how its benefit works (read 2026-10-23), and lists the large US employers whose own benefit pages name it, each with the limit it states. - [Progyny: how it works and which companies use it](https://ivfcost.co/fertility-benefits/progyny): Counts the benefit in Smart Cycles (an IVF cycle uses 3/4 of one); your employer sets how many you get. Employers we checked that name it: Cisco, DuPont, General Motors, State Farm, University of Pennsylvania. - [WINFertility: how it works and which companies use it](https://ivfcost.co/fertility-benefits/winfertility): No single unit: each employer sets a dollar or cycle limit, and you enroll with a WIN nurse first. Employers we checked that name it: Accenture, Boeing, Chevron, Chewy, Disney, EY, JPMorgan Chase, NVIDIA, Tractor Supply, University of California. - [Maven: how it works and which companies use it](https://ivfcost.co/fertility-benefits/maven): Employer funds in Maven Wallet (Green reimburses, Gold pays clinics directly) or a managed benefit by cycles. Employers we checked that name it: Amazon, ConocoPhillips, Harvard University, John Deere, Lowe's, Morgan Stanley, PwC, UnitedHealth Group. - [Kindbody: how it works and which companies use it](https://ivfcost.co/fertility-benefits/kindbody): Each employer sets cycles or dollars (3 cycles at Medtronic, $60,000 at Tesla); Kindbody or partner clinics. Employers we checked that name it: Medtronic, Northwestern Mutual, Princeton University, Tesla, Walmart. ## IUI cost by metro area Each page lists what every fertility clinic in one US Census metropolitan area posts for IUI (intrauterine insemination) on its own website (read Oct 8, 2026), with what each price includes (monitoring, medications, sperm wash) and what costs extra, never averaged or ranked by price; what a posted price can leave out; each state's insurance law; and the grants that accept the area's residents for IUI. - [IUI cost in Atlanta, GA](https://ivfcost.co/iui/atlanta-ga): 2 of 7 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Austin, TX](https://ivfcost.co/iui/austin-tx): 2 of 6 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Boston, MA](https://ivfcost.co/iui/boston-ma): 1 of 6 clinics posts a price - [IUI cost in Charlotte, NC](https://ivfcost.co/iui/charlotte-nc): 1 of 3 clinics posts a price - [IUI cost in Chicago, IL](https://ivfcost.co/iui/chicago-il): 5 of 19 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX](https://ivfcost.co/iui/dallas-fort-worth-tx): 4 of 16 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Denver, CO](https://ivfcost.co/iui/denver-co): 4 of 6 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Detroit, MI](https://ivfcost.co/iui/detroit-mi): 2 of 6 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Houston, TX](https://ivfcost.co/iui/houston-tx): 3 of 10 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Jacksonville, FL](https://ivfcost.co/iui/jacksonville-fl): 1 of 4 clinics posts a price - [IUI cost in Las Vegas, NV](https://ivfcost.co/iui/las-vegas-nv): 1 of 5 clinics posts a price - [IUI cost in Los Angeles and Orange County](https://ivfcost.co/iui/los-angeles-ca): 8 of 44 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Miami and South Florida](https://ivfcost.co/iui/miami-fl): 1 of 8 clinics posts a price - [IUI cost in Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN](https://ivfcost.co/iui/minneapolis-st-paul-mn): 2 of 4 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in New York City](https://ivfcost.co/iui/new-york-city-ny): 11 of 47 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Orlando, FL](https://ivfcost.co/iui/orlando-fl): 1 of 5 clinics posts a price - [IUI cost in Philadelphia, PA](https://ivfcost.co/iui/philadelphia-pa): 3 of 10 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Phoenix, AZ](https://ivfcost.co/iui/phoenix-az): 2 of 8 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Portland, OR](https://ivfcost.co/iui/portland-or): 2 of 4 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Provo, UT](https://ivfcost.co/iui/provo-ut): 2 of 2 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Raleigh, NC](https://ivfcost.co/iui/raleigh-nc): 1 of 4 clinics posts a price - [IUI cost in Sacramento, CA](https://ivfcost.co/iui/sacramento-ca): 1 of 3 clinics posts a price - [IUI cost in San Antonio, TX](https://ivfcost.co/iui/san-antonio-tx): 2 of 5 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in San Diego, CA](https://ivfcost.co/iui/san-diego-ca): 1 of 8 clinics posts a price - [IUI cost in San Francisco, CA](https://ivfcost.co/iui/san-francisco-ca): 6 of 14 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in San Jose and Silicon Valley](https://ivfcost.co/iui/san-jose-ca): 3 of 7 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Seattle, WA](https://ivfcost.co/iui/seattle-wa): 5 of 8 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Spokane, WA](https://ivfcost.co/iui/spokane-wa): 1 of 2 clinics posts a price - [IUI cost in St. Louis, MO](https://ivfcost.co/iui/st-louis-mo): 2 of 7 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Stamford and Bridgeport, CT](https://ivfcost.co/iui/stamford-bridgeport-ct): 1 of 5 clinics posts a price - [IUI cost in Syracuse, NY](https://ivfcost.co/iui/syracuse-ny): 1 of 2 clinics posts a price - [IUI cost in Tampa, FL](https://ivfcost.co/iui/tampa-fl): 1 of 3 clinics posts a price - [IUI cost in Tucson, AZ](https://ivfcost.co/iui/tucson-az): 2 of 2 clinics post a price - [IUI cost in Virginia Beach-Norfolk, VA](https://ivfcost.co/iui/virginia-beach-norfolk-va): 1 of 3 clinics posts a price - [IUI cost in Washington, DC](https://ivfcost.co/iui/washington-dc): 3 of 10 clinics post a price
