How this estimate is built

No invented numbers. Every figure the calculator adds is a national range cited to a primary source, and the midpoint reconstructs the representative loaded cycle from our full cost guide.

The calculator sums only the cost components you switch on, each drawn from a cited 2026 source (Carrot Fertility, Center for Reproduction, ovu, and CNY Fertility). The base cycle fee is always included because it is the one piece a clinic's headline quote captures. Medications and the optional add-ons (ICSI, PGT-A, freezing, a frozen transfer) are the pieces that turn that quote into a real bill.

It multiplies the selected cost components by the number of retrieval cycles you choose. Each budgeted cycle repeats the same selections; your actual treatment plan may have a different number of transfers or different charges. This is a cost scenario, not a recommendation to undergo repeat treatment. How many IVF cycles will I need?
The number of cycles you may need cannot be determined from an age-band average. The cycle selector creates a cost scenario, not a treatment recommendation or a prediction of cumulative success. Which IVF add-ons cost the most?
PGT-A genetic testing is the most expensive common add-on at $3,000 to $6,000, and because the analysis fee is often charged per embryo, it can climb higher. A frozen embryo transfer adds around $5,000, and medications add $3,000 to $7,000. ICSI ($1,000 to $2,500) is worth questioning if male-factor infertility is not your diagnosis.
